In order to increase the operational reliability of a direct vision window in icing conditions, ensure that the window can be opened in flight, reduce the forces on the handle of the window during closing and ensure the airtight compression of the sealing strip around the perimeter of the window, the direct vision window is designed to be rotatable relative to a lower front support by means of an arm that is rigidly attached at one end to the frame of the window, the other end of the arm being mounted so as to be able to rotate on a spindle situated on the lower front support, and the window opening and closing mechanism is in the form of a window locking mechanism, a mechanism for securing the window in a partially or fully open position and a control handle locking mechanism provided with a handle lock which prevents rotation of the window relative to the lower front support once the window has been moved out of the aperture and along the guide rails during opening, wherein all of the mechanisms are operated by a single handle.
|
