<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber holder dispensing with slack processing while simplifying the fusion-splicing working of an optical fiber. <P>SOLUTION: The optical fiber holder for fixing one optical fiber when splicing the rear ends of two optical fibers with fusion by an optical fiber fusion-splicing machine includes: a termination processing part fixing structure for positioning and fixing a termination processing part in which the optical fiber is inserted in a ferrule in a state that a bear fiber is projected rearward; and structures for being engaged with positioning guides formed on the optical fiber fusion-splicing machine, and for being mounted at a prescribed position of the optical fiber fusion splicing machine. The termination processing part fixing structure includes: a flange storage part for storing the termination processing part in which the ferrule is connected to the same shaft in a hollow cylinder-shaped flange member formed with a flange; and a groove formed with a shape along which a tube connected to the front edge of the ferrule so as to be freely attached/detached crawls. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
