<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foaming aerosol product that comprises a carbon dioxide-containing propellant and has excellent foaming properties and improved foam quality. <P>SOLUTION: The foaming aerosol product is obtained by packing a pressure-resistant container with [A] a stock solution containing an anionic surfactant and [B] a propellant. The propellant contains isopentane, a liquefied petroleum gas and carbon dioxide, and the mass ratio of the total of the isopentane and the liquefied petroleum gas to [A] the stock solution is ≥4/96 and ≤10/90. The foaming aerosol product is preferably used as a shampoo. Preferably the packed amount of the liquefied petroleum gas is larger than that of the isopentane.
