ELECTROLYTE MEMBRANE FOR FUEL CELL AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME, MEMBRANE ELECTRODE ASSEMBLY, AND FUEL CELL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolyte membrane suppressing elution of an acid component to the outside of the electrolyte membrane and also having sufficient strength, in a fuel cell including the electrolyte membrane obtained by impregnating polymerizable acid in a polymer film.

SOLUTION: There are provided an electrolyte membrane having sufficient strength and a method for manufacturing the electrolyte membrane. The electrolyte membrane is obtained by impregnating a polymerizable acid monomer in a polymer film and then polymerizing the polymerizable acid monomer. The polymer film contains inorganic particles which are surface-treated with a surface treatment agent having a polymerizable double bond.
