PURPOSE: A device for discharging circulating water continuously and automatically without power and an installing method thereof are provided to discharge the circulating water completely without influencing to the circulating power of the circulating water. CONSTITUTION: A method for discharging circulating water is as follows. The discharged circulating water of a cooling tower is received in a water receiver or a hopper, and the received circulating water is discharged to a connected water discharging passage. Even if the amount of the discharged circulating water is controlled and a valve is opened, stopping and operating the cooling tower is synchronized with starting and stopping of the discharge of the circulating water.
