<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent adverse influence on a driver by engine exhaust and exhaust noise and contamination by the engine exhaust of a machine body including an opening/closing guard while avoiding interference of the opening/closing guard and a tail pipe, to sufficiently secure a width of a back surface opening of an engine room and the opening/closing guard, and to minimize a length of the tail pipe. <P>SOLUTION: While a tail pipe 13 is extended upwards from a muffler through a fixed guard 9 covering an upper surface opening of an engine room 6, an opening/closing guard 10 for opening and closing the back surface opening is formed in a curved shape swollen outwards with a middle part in a longitudinal direction positioned at the rearmost part in the view from above in a closed state. A distal end of the tail pipe 13 is opened in a left oblique rear direction at a position higher than one end part in the longitudinal direction of the opening/closing guard 10 in an opening/closing guard open state at the rearmost part in such a range that it does not interfere with an opening/closing trajectory of the guard 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
