<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate-like catalyst structure in which the catalyst element structure of the unit end of a conventional catalyst preparation body is improved, and the deposition of the ash and dust in an exhaust gas is prevented. <P>SOLUTION: The plate-like catalyst structure for exhaust gas treatment is a catalyst structure in which a plate-like catalyst element is laminated that supports a catalyst component to a plate-like body, in a flat plate part of which multiple rows of convex row parts and concave row parts (mountain parts) of a prescribed height are alternately formed in a row, wherein the plate-like catalyst element is stored in a frame unit. The catalyst structure has the supporting part for the element at the end of the exhaust gas flow path side of the unit, wherein the ratio (l/L) of the flat plate length l of the unit end to the length L of the element supporting part is at least 2.0, and the flat plate length l of the unit end is at most a width w (l≤w) of the exhaust gas flow path between the catalyst elements. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
