<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the reduction in service life due to a mounting error of a linear motion device in which a cross section of a guide rail is formed in a U shape and a ball screw mechanism is not included. <P>SOLUTION: A raceway surface 22a is formed in a position opposed to a raceway surface 12a of a guide rail 1 on each side of a slider 2. Both raceway surfaces 12a, 22a constitute rolling passages of rollers 5. The device has two pairs of four trains of rolling passages. A crossing point C of load action lines L1, L2 of roller trains rolling on two trains of rolling passages in each sleeve 12 is present inside from the rolling passage in a width direction.
