<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accelerator device that prevents a foreign matter from entering a housing part inner space and allows stable rotation of a rotary shaft. <P>SOLUTION: In a small-diameter part 301 of a rotary shaft 30, one end 152 of a pedal arm 15 is fixed. One end 303 of the rotary shaft 30 is supported by a first bearing part 211 of a housing 21. The other end 304 of the rotary shaft 30 is supported by a second bearing part 221 of a cover 22. When the accelerator device 1 is used, a downward force F0 is applied to the small-diameter part 301. Upward forces F1, F2 from the first and second bearing parts 211, 221 are applied to the one and the other ends 303, 304. An oil seal 24 formed between a through-hole 214 formed in the housing 22 and an outer wall of the rotary shaft 30 prevents a foreign matter from entering a housing inner space 201, while ensuring stable rotation of the rotary shaft 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
