<p>PURPOSE: A language selection method and a recording medium are provided to automatically convert a language with a reasonable method when characters are inputted or are searched for in a program, thereby enabling a user to select and use the language. CONSTITUTION: A search function starts at a position of a pointer or on a screen. Characters are determined at the position or on the screen. A language of the characters is determined and selected. When two or more languages exist, the language of the characters is selected as a language in which a share is over a predetermined range.</p> |
