DISC SPINDLE STRUCTURE AND OPTICAL DISC DRIVE ADOPTING THE STRUCTURE

PURPOSE: A disk chucking structure and an optical disk drive applying the same are provided to combine a clamper with a spindle by using a board type string, thereby removing an expensive magnet which generates noise. CONSTITUTION: A disk is settled in a spindle. A clamper(132) fixes the disk for the spindle. A pressure unit(134a) of a chucking spring(134) pressurizes an upper side of the clamper. An elastic unit(134c) of the chucking spring is formed in circumference of the pressure unit and provides elastic force to the clamper. A lubricating member is interposed between the pressure unit and the clamper.
