PURPOSE: A thermal storage cooling and heating system is provided to reduce the number of valves included in a thermal storage unit and to simplify a pipe system, thereby reducing manufacturing costs. CONSTITUTION: A thermal storage cooling and heating system comprises an outdoor unit(1), an indoor unit(3), a refrigerant pipe, a thermal storage tank, a first pipe(210), a second pipe(220), and a third pipe(230). The outdoor unit includes a compressor and an outdoor heat exchanger. The indoor unit is communicated with the outdoor unit and includes an indoor heat exchanger. The refrigerant pipe connects the indoor and outdoor units, thereby guiding the circulation of refrigerant. The thermal storage tank is arranged in one or more sides of the indoor and outdoor units and stores cold air or heat. The first pipe is extended to one side of the thermal storage tank from the refrigerant pipe. The second pipe is extended to the refrigerant pipe from the other side of the thermal storage unit. The third pipe is branched from the second pipe, thereby connecting to the refrigerant pipe. |
