PURPOSE: A cargo hold with a sloshing load absorbing function and a sloshing load absorbing method thereof are provided to maintain the insulation performance of the cargo hold and to improve the stability of a ship by effectively circulating gas in a primary insulation space. CONSTITUTION: A cargo hold with a sloshing load absorbing function comprises a tank body(10) and a primary membrane(20). The tank body is arranged in a hull and stores liquefied natural gas. The primary membrane is arranged inside the tank body and has protruding portions. The protruding portions protrude from the center of the tank body to absorb sloshing load and are filled with gas.
