<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidification device that can maintain cleanliness by notifying a water treatment state. <P>SOLUTION: The humidification device includes: a tank; a humidification unit; an air blower; a notification unit for issuing a notification to prompt replacement of water stored in the tank; a detection unit detecting air humidity and water storage amount; a control unit controlling the humidification unit and the air blower on the basis of a detection result from the detection unit; and a recording unit recording time information indicating an operating time for a prescribed operation. In addition, the humidification device includes a switching unit that receives instructions for switching between a first mode which is an operating mode of operating the humidification unit and a second mode which is an operating mode of performing an air blowing operation by means of the air blower without operating the humidification unit. When the second mode is in operation, the control unit determines the elapsed time after transfer to the second mode on the basis of the time information, and when the elapsed time exceeds a predetermined reference time, the control unit controls the notification unit to issue a notification. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
