<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal aligning agent capable of forming a liquid crystal alignment film excellent in maintenance of liquid crystal aligning performance and electric characteristics especially when exposed to light for a long period of time after continuous driving for a long time in a PSA liquid crystal display element, and to provide a liquid crystal aligning agent capable of solving the above problem especially in a liquid crystal display element of a lateral electric field system such as an IPS mode and an FFS mode, and a liquid crystal alignment film formed by using the same and a liquid crystal display element. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a liquid crystal aligning agent for forming a liquid crystal alignment film in a PSA liquid crystal display element, which comprises at least one polymer selected from the group consisting of [A] a polyorganosiloxane having a photo-alignment group, [B] a polymer having a photo-alignment group in the main chain and [C] a polyamic acid having decomposition type photo-alignment properties and/or a polyimide. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
