<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine that makes an appropriate inquiry according to a situation. <P>SOLUTION: An authentication control part of the game machine includes: a storage means for storing identification information of a predetermined device; and an authentication means for acquiring identification information of the predetermined device transmitted by the predetermined device, and authenticating the predetermined device, on the basis of the acquired identification information and the identification information stored in the storage means. If authentication fails in the authentication means, the identification information transmitted by the predetermined device is transmitted to the authentication device for authenticating the predetermined device, and an inquiry for authentication of the predetermined device is made to an authentication device.
