<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drying device and a recording apparatus that can efficiently dry a recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: A drying device 17 includes: a conveyance path forming member 41 that has a supporting surface 41a that can support a sheet CS while composing a part of a conveyance path to convey the sheet CS from an upstream side to a downstream side; and a heater unit 17A that is arranged opposing to the supporting surface 41a and applies the drying process to the sheet CS by spouting the air sucked from an air intake 52 and heated from the outlet 53 toward the sheet CS on the supporting surface 41a. In addition, the drying device 17 includes: an opening 41b that is formed on a conveyance path forming member 41, and where a conveyance roller pair R3 that conveys the sheet CS on the supporting surface 41a to the downstream side of the conveyance path; and a space forming member 50 that is arranged on the other side holding the opening 41b to the heater unit 17A and forms the partition of the space K1 containing the opening 41b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
