<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for a hybrid system capable of improving startability of an internal combustion engine, and capable of suitably charging a storage battery. <P>SOLUTION: The hybrid system includes the internal combustion engine capable of using alcohol-mixed fuel, a cooling water heating device for heating cooling water of the internal combustion engine by the electric power supplied, and the storage battery capable of supplying the electric power to the cooling water heating device and connected at least to an external power source to be charged. A demanded water temperature is set higher as the alcohol concentration in the fuel increases. When the internal combustion engine is in the stopped state and the storage battery is connected to the external electric power source, the electric power is supplied to the cooling water heating device until the water temperature of the cooling water reaches the demanded water temperature. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
