<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conversion device which suppresses overcharging of a battery charged by a solar cell. <P>SOLUTION: The power conversion device includes a battery, a solar cell, a power converter for converting power from the solar cell into charging power for charging the battery, a voltage sensor for detecting a voltage of the battery, and power converter control means for controlling a power conversion stop time in which power conversion by the power converter is stopped.
