<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the cleaning method of hot water for sterilization which can easily and stably supply a treating agent and perform stable cleaning for heating sterilization apparatus of not only a batch type but also a continuous type. <P>SOLUTION: In the cleaning method, the hot water for sterilization is filled in the heating sterilization apparatus and contains higher fatty acid calcium salt and higher fatty acid transition metal salt.
