The assembly auxiliary tool (20) has a connecting structure (22) that is provided with a stopper (24) whose outer diameter (D1) is adjusted with respect to an inner diameter (D2) of a duct element (14) which is in the form of hose. The connecting structure is provided for connecting a tool main portion with the duct element. A grip element (26) is connected with the connecting structure. The duct element connected with the tool main portion is moved from a pre-assembly position into a mounting position with respect to a pipe union through the grip element. An independent claim is included for a method for assembly of flexible duct element at corresponding pipe union of motor vehicle.
