<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent accuracy deterioration in focus adjustment of an imaging optical system. <P>SOLUTION: A diaphragm controller includes: diaphragm means adjusting the quantity of incident subject light; photometric arithmetic means calculating a luminance value based on the subject light whose quantity is adjusted by the diaphragm means at a predetermined interval; exposure arithmetic means performing exposure calculation using the luminance value calculated at the predetermined interval; and aperture setting means setting the aperture of the diaphragm means in the next exposure control, based on the aperture of the diaphragm means obtained by the exposure calculation, the aperture of the diaphragm means used for the last exposure control, and the effective range of the aperture of the diaphragm means in the focus adjustment of the imaging optical system. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
