This fastener stringer (10) is provided with an anchoring section (21a, 22a, 41a) in which at least one of a first and a second half section (21, 22, 41, 42) of a fastener element (20, 40) is anchored to a fastener tape (11) and a tapered extending section (21b, 22b, 41b) extending from the anchoring section (21a, 22a, 41a) facing away from the tape. A first and second side in the tape lengthwise direction on the fixing section (21a, 22a, 41a) have a concave face (21c, 22c, 41c) curved in a concave shape so as to gradually increase toward the fastener tape (11) from the element surface (25, 45) of the fastener element (20, 40). Consequently, each of the fastener elements (20, 40) can present an outward appearance close to a metallic fastener element (20, 40) and a mechanism for stopping a slider (30) can be made to function in a stable manner. |
