PURPOSE:To enable a wash the horizontal agitator easily and securely, by a method wherein a driving shaft for rotation is separately placed in the exterior of an agitating vessel, and stirring means are removably fitted to the shaft. CONSTITUTION:The stirring means 16 on one side is inserted into the agitating vessel via a takeing-out port 4, and a stirring shaft 7 is passed through an insert hole 7 and is fitted to a tip part 14 of the driving shaft 12 for rotation. At this time, a seal member 22 fitted around the stirring shaft 19 is clamped between a flange 23 of the shaft 19 and the inside peripheral wall of the insert hole 7 and is closely and slantically contacted to said flange 23 and said wall. The stirring means 16 on the other side is fitted in the same manner as above. Then, a material to be agitated is fed in through the port 4, and both the stirring means 16 are rotated. After the agitation is finished, the vessel 1 is tilted by rotating a handle 30 and the content is taken out. Thereafter, the stirring means 16 are removed, and the means 16 and the vessel 1 are cleaned separately from each other. |
