摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor which examines device information of all image processors under control without allowing the devices to recover from a power-saving state to a normal state, and controls to recover more appropriate prescribed number of image processors to the normal state. <P>SOLUTION: Each image processor 10 holds a table 40 registering device information of all image processors, and delivers and receives the information so that an image processor 10 in a normal state can hold the latest table 40. When shifting from the normal state to a power-saving state, a self device refers to the table 40 of the self device. When the number of image processors in the normal state is over the minimum requisite number of running devices (eg. one device), the self device shifts itself to the power saving state. When the number is not over, the self device compares device information of other image processors in the power-saving mode and the self device, and maintains the normal state of the self device if the self device is optimal, or allows another image processor to recover to the normal state if the image processor is optimal, while shifting to the power-saving mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
