<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing method and apparatus, capable of expanding a recording and erasing region, securing a sufficient erasing time, enabling uniform erasion, and having superior erasing property. <P>SOLUTION: The image processing method includes at least either of: an image recording step of recording an image to a heat reversible recording medium by applying laser light to the heat reversible recording medium in which either transparency and a color tone is reversibly changed depending on a temperature, and heating it; and an image erasing step of erasing an image recorded to the heat reversible recording medium by applying the laser light to the heat reversible recording medium and heating it. In either the image recording process and the image erasing step, the laser light is parallel light, a laser output at surroundings of the center of a laser light axis becomes higher than a laser output at the center of the laser light axis by changing the laser output itself. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
