<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a driver from feeling a discomfort in controlling the turning-on/off of a light in a specific circumference. <P>SOLUTION: A vehicle light automatic control device 1 includes: a front illuminance sensor 2 for detecting the illuminance of a vehicle front; an upward illuminance sensor 3 for detecting the illuminance of a vehicle upside; and a control unit 4 for controlling an on/off-operation of a vehicle light based upon the illuminance based on the vehicle front and vehicle upside. The vehicle light automatic control device includes a time zone determining unit 44 for determining whether or not a present time is in a time zone of nightfall based on the illuminance of the vehicle upside, where, when it is determined that the present time is in the time zone of nightfall, the control unit 4 prohibits an off-operation of the vehicle light afterward. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
