<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PPPoE client device capable of establishing a PPPoE session at an early stage. <P>SOLUTION: Before completing generation of a socket corresponding to a session ID acquired from a PPPoE server, the PPPoE client device receives a session start packet and stores it as a stored packet.
