PURPOSE: An ultrasonic device driving method is provided to perform high quality ultrasonography by automatically resetting a scan depth suitable for an ultrasonography of a target object. CONSTITUTION: A first lowermost boundary position in which a measured contrast ratio starts to continuously exist in a specific contrast ratio range is detected(S130). An appropriate scan depth value which is an ultrasonic wave scan depth corresponding to the first lowermost boundary position is calcualted(S140). If difference between the appropriate scan depth value and the scan depth of ultrasonic wave transmitted by a probe is out of the predetermined tolerance range, the probe is reset so that the ultrasonic wave scan depth being transmitted by the probe corresponds to the appropriate scan depth(S150).
