PURPOSE: A sound insulator for a vehicle is provided to minimize noise inside a vehicle by irregularly reflecting noise in order to offset and subsequently blocking noise which is generated from an engine from flowing into the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A sound insulator for a vehicle comprises an upper plate(11), a lower plate(12), and a chamber(S). The upper plate comprises a partition(11a) which is downwardly projected in order to partition a bottom surface. The lower plate comprises a partition(12a) which is upwardly projected in order to correspond to the partition of the upper plate. The chamber is formed between the upper and lower plates, is partitioned by the partition, and has a lower pressure than atmospheric pressure.
