<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner which can obtain a higher air flow regulating effect by making a length of a vertical wind direction-changing blade increase apparently with a smaller number of components. <P>SOLUTION: In the air conditioner which performs air conditioning operation, by providing an indoor unit 2 with a vertical wind direction-changing blade 12 that changes vertically the direction of air blown out from a blowout port 10 and controlling the vertical wind direction-changing blade 12, the vertical wind direction-changing blade 12 is provided with a first blade 18 and a second blade 20 to be able to freely turn in the vicinity of the blowout port 10, a turning pivot 24 of the second blade 20: is configured to be movable to come close or to depart from the first blade 18; and is configured so that the upstream side end 20a of the second blade 20 or the turning pivot 24 may be movable from the upstream side to the down stream side in the flow direction of the wind with respect to a supposed curve showing the blowout port 10, when the second blade 20 comes close to the first blade 18. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
