The inhaler comprises a pressurized canister (140) comprising a plurality of discharge volumes of a medicament and a primeless valve (110). The inhaler is suitable for repetitive discharges of the medicament. The pressurized canister (110) is glass, plastic, metal or combinations thereof and has a total volume of less than about 10 millilitres. The inhaler reduces wastage of medicaments that are only available in restricted or controlled quantities.
