The present invention is related to the food industry in general, particularly pertaining to the field of food technology and Engineering and development of novel food products and more particularly referring to a processed food product with a high nutritional value and excellent organoleptic properties, as well as a process for manufacturing the same; the invention is characterised in that it comprises egg and/or egg albumin as a main ingredient, which is mixed with or without textured isolated soy protein or other source of vegetable or animal protein; with natural and/or artificial flavour agents, stabilising gums; the product is pasteurised and bagged.
