PURPOSE: A slugless hole machining method for hydroformed products is provided to prevent slug adhering to holes of a hydroformed product and secure position accuracy of the holes by employing another hole machined relative to a preliminary hole as a new reference hole. CONSTITUTION: A slugless hole machining method for hydroformed products comprises a step of machining a preliminary hole with slug(S) attached using a hydro-piercing method, where the preliminary hole has a dimension(d) smaller than the final dimension(D) of a hole pierced in a tube(100) located in a mold, a step of machining other holes with a laser cutting method using the preliminary hole as a reference hole, and a step of remachining the preliminary hole to the final dimension with a laser cutting method using one of the other holes as a reference hole so that the slag attached to the preliminary hole is removed. |
