PURPOSE: A fuel composition and alternative fuel for internal combustion engines are provided to remarkably reduce the generation and discharge of air pollution material and to reduce noise. CONSTITUTION: A fuel composition for internal combustion engines contains 1-88 weight% of butanol, 3-75 weight% of a paraffin-based hydrocarbon solvent, 3-35 weight% of toluene, and 6-30 weight% of xylene. A fuel composition for internal combustion engines comprises one or more components selected from 1-20 weight% of a butane derivative, 1-30 weight% of a pentane derivative, 1-40 weight% of a hexane derivative, 1-45 weight% of a benzene derivative, and 1-20 weight% of a heptanes derivative based on the total content of the fuel composition. |
