<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a one side spot welding method that can prevent the deterioration of workpiece quality due to the generation of sputtering, and to provide a one side spot welding device. <P>SOLUTION: The one-side spot welding method for welding a workpiece W by applying electrodes 2 and 3, 3 to a welding portion of the workpiece W from only one side includes: a welding step for bringing a welding electrode 2 and earth electrodes 3, 3 into abutment with the workpiece W while pressing the workpiece from one side, and distributing power between the welding electrode 2 and the earth electrodes 3, 3; and a cooling step for supplying air, in the welding step, to a boundary between the welding electrode 2 and the workpiece W from around the welding electrode 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
