PURPOSE: A heat source material for securing a heat source in molten iron, a molten iron dephosphorization method using the same, and a method for reducing dust in molten iron are provided to reduce dust generated in hot metal when tapping the hot metal after dephosphorization, thereby improving work environments and reducing the loss of materials. CONSTITUTION: A method for dephosphorizing hot metal(M) comprises the steps of: charging hot metal into a converter(10), leading gas and sub-materials into the converter charged with the hot metal and implementing dephosphorization, inserting a heat source material(H) including silicon into the dephosphorized hot metal, and tapping the hot metal including the heat source material for a decarbonizing process. |
