<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a desulfurization refining agent for molten iron that hardly gives adverse effects on the environment, can reuse produced slag, and has favorable workability, and to provide a desulfurization method. <P>SOLUTION: The desulfurization refining agent for molten iron is produced by adding, to an alkaline rare earth metal desulfurization agent, a slag formation promoter which is a mixture of K<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O and KCl, the content of each being 5.0 mass% or more, and the method includes desulfurizing molten iron by using the desulfurization refining agent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
