<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device able to improve the strength of a housing and the relative positioning accuracy of a developer carrier and a supply member, and a manufacturing method thereof. <P>SOLUTION: In a developing cartridge 23, first openings 27 are formed in both left and right side walls 34 and 35.
