RING NETWORK PROTECTION GROUP LINK SWITCHBACK METHOD AND DEVICE

A ring network protection group link switchback method and device. The method includes: when devices at two ends command a group forwarding layer at a group control layer to perform group addition and command a tunnel forwarding layer at a tunnel control layer to perform tunnel addition, they record a flag indicating whether a main forwarding link is normal in their own forwarding table corresponding to each forwarding layer; when performing link switchback, the device at one end determines whether the section layer (TMS) link of a detection layer is normal, and if it is normal, then it determines whether a first link state of the main forwarding link is normal according to the record in its own forwarding table, and if the first link state is normal, then it notifies the device at the opposite end that the first link state is normal and it has prepared for switchback; the device at the opposite end acquires a second link state of the main forwarding link at the present end according to the record in its own forwarding table and returns the second link state to the device at the other end; and the devices at two ends switch back to the main forwarding link from a standby forwarding link when it is determined that the first link state and the second link state are both normal.
