<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical woven fabric which has characteristics such as excellent bacterial barrier properties and blood barrier properties, in which durability and feeling are not deteriorated even when it is repeatedly subjected to washing and heat resistant sterilization treatments, and which can further largely reduce stuffy feelings and is excellent in dressing comfort. <P>SOLUTION: A medical woven fabric includes multiplied layer yarns each prepared by covering a core layer made of polyester staple fibers with a sheath layer made of cellulose fibers in a core and sheath mass ratio (core:mass) of 20:80 to 60:40, as constituting yarns, and does not include a coating layer or a laminate layer. The medical woven fabric has a cover factor of 33.5-38.0 and is characterized in that it satisfies a gas permeation rate of ≤10 cm<SP POS="POST">3</SP>/cm<SP POS="POST">2</SP>sec, a moisture permeability of ≥300 g/cm<SP POS="POST">2</SP>hr, an RMA (real moisture absorption) and an RMD (real moisture disabsorption) respectively of ≥1.5% after it is subjected to 100 washing and heat resistant sterilization treatments. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
