The present invention relates to a control apparatus for a user control of a network access media device using an online run-time engine, and to a control method using same. The control system for the user control of the network access media device using the run-time engine according to the present invention comprises: one or more media providers selected from among a manufacturer providing a display apparatus, a media company, and a portal or social networking service provider contracted by the media company to provide media to an end-consumer; at least one media gateway on which is mounted a controller which serves as a mediator for the one or more media providers so as to use a personal portable device of the user as a remote control and which is connected to and controls an external display so that the external display may be controlled by the personal portable device, an execution engine unit for dynamically providing the user of the personal portable device with a configuration of various menus, and a GUI engine unit; an execution engine/control unit which controls data transceived to/from the media providers or the media gateways, and controls a channel selection of media, detailed information requests, and a volume adjustment, and exchanges data with an application installed in the terminals of other users; a memory unit for storing an execution engine to be driven in an operating system and data; a GPS/location recognition unit for setting information on the location of the user; a display unit serving as a screen area; and a wireless communication unit for communication. |
