<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knocking member and a multi-lead writing utensil having a longer refill. <P>SOLUTION: The writing utensil includes: a cylindrical shaft tube 12 having a center axis X; a knocking member 18; and a first guide rail 33 which guides the knocking member heading sliding toward the front end of the shaft tube along the center axis from the rear end position. The first guide rail is engaged with the front end of the knocking member at the front end position where the rear end of the knocking member separates from the front end of the first guide rail and the rear end of the knocking member enters the shaft tube in a direction perpendicular to the center axis. A protruding portion 35 is formed at the front end of the knocking member, and protrudes from the knocking member in the direction perpendicular to the center axis. The second guide rail 39 guides the movement of the protruding portion at least during the sliding movement of the knocking member from disengagement of the first guide rail to the position of the front end, and prevents the front end of the knocking member from collapsing in the direction perpendicular to the center axis. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
