The device has a control unit (1) emitting a date location resolution request in form of a location message in a predetermined format to a position resolution unit (5) to determine a location that is assigned to a date invitation message concerning a date. The resolution unit determines the emitted request and provides the location message. The control unit provides the date invitation message together with the location message as a container message to a communication interface (7) e.g. local area network (LAN) interface.
