PURPOSE: A slice cutter apparatus is provided to automatically remove soil on roots of plants such as root vegetables or edible roots and to peel the skin at the same time, and to slice the roots to a fixed size. CONSTITUTION: A slice cutter apparatus is a cylindrical net body with an inlet port(22) and an outlet port(23) on each end. The slice cutter apparatus comprises a spinning cylinder(20) in which the object including plant roots inserted into the inlet port moves to the outlet port by the rotation, and foreign substances including soil attached to the object and skin are discharged to the lower part of the longitudinal direction; a foreign substance discharging tool(30) comprising a collecting duct(31) for collecting foreign substances and a transporting screw(32) mounted in the collecting duct for transporting the foreign substances; a exhaustion duct(40) inclined downward in order to collect the object discharged from a discharging port(34); and a cutter unit(50) including a rotary cutter(60) for cutting the object. The spinning cylinder has at least one guide protrusion(24) on the inner wall. The guide protrusion is a rod or plate shape and is installed so that the front end of the outlet port is positioned in front than the base part of the inlet port side. The cutter unit has a case(51) with the rotary cutter. The case has an opening/closing door(52) and a discharging port(53) on the bottom side so that the sliced object is ejected. The rotary cutter comprises a rotary plate with multiple discharging holes, and multiple cutter blades on the rotary plate corresponding to the discharging holes. |
