<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ladle supporting device that can support a ladle with an arbitrary size and shape. <P>SOLUTION: The ladle supporting device includes: a ladle supporting part 22 for supporting a stiffener 20 of the ladle 18; a pair of frames 14 placed on a device body 12 in substantially parallel with each other; and an actuator 16 for turning the pair of frames 14 within a horizontal plane to change placement angles of the pair of frames.
