摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel steering device that connects an input shaft and an output shaft using a planetary gear so as to generate differential between the input shaft that interlocks with steering operation of a front wheel and the output shaft that interlocks with steering operation of a rear wheel, while achieving appropriate input/output characteristics of the input and output shafts in both small and large steering angle ranges. <P>SOLUTION: In the wheel steering device, the planetary gear 44 moves along an outer circumference of a sun gear 42a, while engaging with the sun gear 42a as an input shaft 30 rotates along with the steering operation of the front wheel. A lever 46 connects the output shaft 32 that interlocks with the steering operation of the rear wheel, with the planetary gear 44. A connection switching mechanism 60 switches the connection state, when a steering angle of the input shaft 30 reaches a predetermined angle, from a first mechanical connection state where the input shaft 30 and the output shaft 32 are connected to each other via the planetary gear 44 and the lever 46, to a second mechanical connection state where the input shaft 30 and the output shaft 32 are connected to each other via a steering member 40 and a second pin 50. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
