This liquid-crystal display panel is provided with a pair of substrates and a liquid-crystal layer sandwiched therebetween. At least one of said substrates has a photo-alignment film that is at least 50 nm thick and aligns the liquid-crystal molecules horizontally with respect to the principal surfaces of the substrates.</p> |
