A reference region computation unit (12) computes a texture image region to be referenced for each of multiple tile regions. A texture image reading unit (13) reads the computed texture image region and sends the computed texture image region to a cache memory (14). A texture pasting unit (16): reads data from the cache memory (14), said data having addresses in the cache memory (14) that correspond to each pixel generated by a pixel generation unit (15); and sets the pixel's drawing color. The pixel data retrieved by the texture pasting unit (16) is drawn to a frame buffer (32) by a pixel write unit (17).
