The hose carrying basket (1) has a box-shaped receiving space for a hose, which is limited by a base (112), side walls (113), a rear wall (111), a hinged wall (121) and a cover (122). A hose outlet is provided for leading-out the hose in the hose carrying basket. The hose outlet is defined on a side by the cover, on another side by the rear wall, on third side by the former side wall and on the fourth side by the hinged wall.
